I'm at wits end trying to find BMs dresses!!!!

My MOH wants Vera Wang, that's great. However, I need to find another designer for my BMs (my MOH is my aunt, who is much older than the BMS, so both of us feel that she'd look better in a different style of dress than my 20-something yr. old BMs.

BUT I NEED HELP!!! Please, off suggestions!!!

So far, I love this one, in french blue, with a carmel sash:

If anyone has other suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Kathy- check out the lazarobridal and jim hjelm wesites. My Bm's are in love with so many dresses that we are having a hard time deciding

My suggestion is to take your girls to some shops and start trying on gowns. Or you can go wtih just one of them and find one that looks good. Since your Aunt is older and wearing a Vera Wang, I would look for something that will compliment her gown, but NOT look like it too much.

There are plenty of sophisticated gowns that don't have to be Vera Wang, I'm sure you can find tons. Remind your MOH that it is your day. JMO

My MOH and I went to Vera Wang and to another store to check out Lazaro and Bill Levkoff. We thought that Vera Wang had just as great styles. My MOH is 25 and is very fashion con. She is my we found some great dresses. Have you gone to her Maids shop? If not go and check them out I know a number of girls who are in their 20's who love them. A few people I know compared them to Laundry. They do have some styles which are better for older and others which are great for girls in their 20's.
If you need a place to get your aunt's dress FM me, a girl in my class gave me a place in jersey city that is an authorized dealer and they charge the same or less for the same dresses and the price includes ALL alterations!

thanks for the suggestions. THe other problem is that everyone, including MOH is out of state, like Arizona, Wisconsin, Virginia, D.C.....the only time I'll see them is at my bridal shower or the wedding!

I've told all them, for quite some time to tell me what they like, or to go to a local bridal salon and try some dresses on. Nobody (except MOH) is doing anything. So, I just think it would be easier if I pick the dress. I thought allowing everyone to selection their own dresses would be nice, but they're not doing it. Thanks for the vent!

We just ordered beautiful bm dresses for my cousin's wedding. The store is called 'Maid To Order' in Brooklyn. They had some really nice stuff.

For my wedding...we got the girls' dresses from Avic on Northern Blvd. in Queens and they have pretty dresses as well.
