I'm Baaaaack! Honeymoon Review & Pics!!!
DH and I got in from Greece on Saturday afternoon, and we've been recooperating! So now I can finally post about our wonderful Honeymoon!
It was an amazing 2 weeks, but definetly ready to be back. 2 weeks is a loong time!
We stayed at the Davani Palace in Athens, and our room overlooked the Acropolis. We had so much fun in the city. We would walk to the little village of Plaka and go shopping, dine at one of the tavernas. The food was just amazing. The traditional greek dishes tasted just like the ones my Yia Yia (grandma) makes![]()
We did a half day tour and saw tons of Historic sights which was really cool.

Then we flew to Santorini.. the weather was changing that day. And Santorini is a windy island to begin with. So it was extra windy, and we took this small plane there and was rocking like a see saw!! I'm a good flyer but that freaked me out a lil!
We got to our Hotel Sun Rocks in FiraStefani, which is between Fira and Oia.. which was just breaktaking..the views. Wow.
This was our terrace over looking the Caldera.
However, we had to walk 115 steps to our room from the street level! Walking up was not an easy chore..lol

The only stinky part of our Santorini stay was we rented a car for one day. The next morning we went to return it, we saw that someone stole our sideview mirror!! I had to pay $90 euro to have it replaced. Like ***!? That's like $120!! for a stupid lil mirror.. I was so![]()
We really loved Kamari Beach in Santorini, soooooo many tavernas, bars, gift shops, hotels along that street. Alot of fun!! If we go back we would stay there.
We took the Fast ferry over to Mykonos..we got there in 2 hours. We arrived at Mykonos Grand, and everyone that worked there was super nice and very accomodating. I had a bit of an upset stomach one night from something I ate, and the manager ran to my room with some Zantax. He even called the following day to see how I felt. So nice of him.

We had a gorgeous seaview room.
We went to the village which I liked alot. So many small winding streets. Alot of shops there too. It was a little confusing to get around, especially when we left our little map in the room!!
We did a lot of R&R here on the sunbeds.
We went out one night to experience the Mykonos nightlife. Man are those clubs LOUD!! The music was blaring too loud for even my 23 yr old ears![]()
So we went to Caprice Bar in Little Venice, which was on the water and really nice and packed with locals. It was very cool.
We also went to the famous Paradise Beach and hung out at the Tropicana bar. We had alot of fun there!

I definetly recommend all the Hotels we stayed at. I was really happy with each one of them. If anyone has any questions or is thinking of doing your HM in Greece FM me! I used Elani from Liberty Travel in Massapequa Park, she was awesome!!! Highly recommended!
I would say if I did it over I probably would have done Athens 2 nights, Santorini 2 or 3 nights, and Mykonos 3 nights. I think 8 nights is enough time on those islands.
