hehehe - thanks girls...i have to say sometimes i think having a puppy must be harder then having a kid...i feel like i need to go on puppy leave just to get him situated...he HATES when he's not around people especially when he knows we're around....i couldn't get him to sleep at night in the crate for the life of me the first week so i finally gave in and let him sleep in the bed with me even though i really didn't want to do that...but i started to feel bad because he's alone all day for 5-8 hours depending on the day to then go in the crate at night for another 8 hrs...plus he was so smart and learned wee-wee pads in the first three days but then we had to change where the crate and pad was and now he's confused...we're trying to teach him to hold it and go outside when he has to go, but can i really expect a 12 week old puppy to hold his pee and poop for 8 hrs during the day? we let him have a run attached to his crate so at one end is the crate with an open door and the other end is a wee-wee pad and in btw he has play area...

tomorrow is the first day since we got him on the 26th that he is really gonna have a full 8-9hr day alone...
