I'm back!

I'm back from my weekend away with FH... it was fantastic! So good to have some time just the two of us, and the place we stayed was absolutely fantastic - it was this beautiful little bed and breakfast about 10 miles south of lake George. (FM for details) It's so peaceful up there, it was so annoying to come back and be stuck in Long Island traffic again!

Also... we were in Saratoga Springs wandering around the town, and I found this awesome bead and jewelry supply shop, and I got my materials to make my tiara! I'm very excited, I found the most gorgeous opal-like accent beads, and some swarovski crystals for sparkle. I feel like I should get the dress before I start on the tiara... but I might start now anyway, I need some cheering up after the end of my vacation.

oh, I will definitely post pictures! I'm getting started on it now, and I'm taking process pictures as I go (because I'm a diy nerd like that).

I make a mock-up with some crappy wire to just get a feel for it, and I love it! I'm getting started with the real silver wire now.

Wow that's so great!!! Very crafty!!! I can't even wrap a present to look nice so I wouldn't dare and try anything creative.

You are way more creative than I am with your tiara. I can barely get the top off a jar never mind create such an intricate item. Hats off to you!
