Welcome back; very scary. I know I was worried introducing the parents. They scared my parents with all the Indian traditions, but then I told them they don't have to do anything they didn't want to do and they were fine.

Thanks, Megan. I'm doing well, all things considering. It was good to spend some time with the family and actually see that my dad is doing alright.

Welcome back; very scary. I know I was worried introducing the parents. They scared my parents with all the Indian traditions, but then I told them they don't have to do anything they didn't want to do and they were fine.
My parents are actually excited about the Bengali traditions; it's his mom who's more nervous about the American stuff. Not to mention that there's a significant age difference going on, which results in my parents and I having a much more casual relationship than FH has with his folks. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end...though I will be packing some Immodium in my purse, LMAO! My tummy acts up when I get super nervous...

good to have u back and hope ur doing good. spending time with family is the most important thing especially at a time like this.
the parents meet is def scariest thing in the world I guess there is some advantages at having my parents in another country. they are gonna meet on the week of the wedding, so I dont know if that any better
I'm sure all ur parents will behave and the meet will go well GL!!!
