IM BACK AND IM MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!! IM A MRS FINALLY!!!!!!
Here is my review...
Reception Hall...Stewart Manor Country Club
There are no words to describe the utter elegance and grace that this pace has. I knew this from the day i booked but was hoping that it would be just as beautiful the day of...and guess what....it was more beautifull than I could ever have imagined! The food was awesome (what I heard), the centerpieces which were included just gorgeous, the waitstaff was so professional and the ambiance just perfect. They lit the fireplaces for us since it was a chilly night which made it even better. And for those of you who are getting married there....please ask for James as your maitre d...words cant describe how wonderful he is! I dealt with Frank mainly and he was terrific too but for the day of, James was the best. A young guy who you wouldnt think would hold expertise and professionalism so well but you know what...he soo did! I cannot rave about him any more than I already have. I wish I could have given him more honestly...just trust me when i say you will not be disappointed with him!
LIMOS....Strathmore in Oyster Bay
The limos were beautiful but I wasnt totally satisfied. The drivers were a little rude at first and honestly not the best drivers in the world. When they arrived at my house they parked around the block and refused to come in front of my house since i lived on the avenue. My whole bridal party flipped and so did my entire neighborhood who was waiting for me outside. So they came around to pick us up. After the actual ceremony our rolls driver kept talking to us and telling silly jokes that i wasnt happy with. Overall they arrived on time and the limos were gorgeous but the drivers werent too great. At the end of the night the owner of the company picked up my family and was wonderful and our town car driver was awesome..so no big complaints.
PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER....Proline
Our photographer was John and his assistant Mary. AWESOME is the only word for them. So discreet during the ceremony, great personalities and just great to be with. You are with your phptographer for so much of the day and it really matters if you get along with them so we got really lucky! Took all the shots we wanted and of course candids!
The video guy was Mario and he was wonderful as well. He was actually a friend of my husbands from a job in the city and he was just great. Not all in our faces but got everything i think. Extremely happy with him as well!
FLORIST.......Teddys florist in Queens
Terrific! Small shop that not many people know about and everything was just beaituful. We didnt spend much on the flowers so that made it even better. Just spectacular.
DJ AND MC...DJS Unlimited in Floral Park
House dj for stewart manor and wonderful. Played everyting we asked for and had everyone dancing all night. Our mc was Dave and our dj mike...both great. The only thing I didnt appreciate was that the mc came over to ME in the middle of the night requesting the balance which i didnt like. I told him to go to my husband or dad...we also asked them to play a few itallian songs and they played like a half hour of them which i didnt care for..took away from dancing time but it was ok i guess. Overall...great service.

I have said this over and over...GREAT! I dealt with charmaine mainly and i loved her. I am so sad that I wont be seeing her anymore. I want to just go back and visit her. Everything was always beautiful and on time. I would otally recommend them and her to anyone!
BM DRESSES... Charisol in Flushing..
The store was good but the seamtresses were horrible! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!!!! I literally wanted to hit one of them on a couple of occasions. But they had the best price for their jim hjelm dress and the owner was very nice so I grinned and beared it.
Overall it was a beautiful wedding! I was so happy with everything but its so true..it goes just too fast. We stood back a couple of times and took eveything in but before you knew it it was over. Its the one and only time...this is your day. I didnt make it to every single table and im sure some people will have something to say about that but you know what...do what you want! Its your time to shine and god knows it costs enough! Pictures will follow soon! Thank you to all of you who have helped me so much...all planning truly does pay off...now I have to get over this depression! I miss the planning!!!!!! Now onto the other side! :)
