I'm back in business..............

I'm back in business..............

The last 2 weeks have left me drained, but I have NO choice, w/officially less than 2 months to go, I have to get into a planning groove FAST !!!!

FYI, my Dad only gave me $3000, I was hoping for $5000. But I have to make do w/what I got.
I'm cutting out a couple of things:

1. Candle placecards - no need if I ain't got no loot

2. RD - we were going to have 2 different cuisines - Carribean/Hatian and American. I'm cutting out the American

3. Limos - trying to eliminate 1 limo.

4. No cocktail hour music - CB will provide backround music for us.

I'm still trying to think of ideas to cut down, but I think those will be the main areas.

Len is better today, he has his son out of school and with him, they are going to the movies to bond. Len says he wants to be the BEST father so long he's alive and kickin. This is one of the MANY reasons I love him

You're wedding will be as beautiful if not moreso even without those things!!!!! Only you know you did away with them and it won't ven matter when the big day gets here!! Can't wait to see ya!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, sometimes less is more. Trust me, I spent hours trying to do stupid hang tags for my wedding favors, and gave up....we just don't have the time to stress over little stuff like this! Use every resource you have at your disposal for help...save yourself the stress on the little stuff.

How about wedding programs? Staples has some pretty ones with a heart design on top. Only $9.99 for 50. I bought them since I have a heart theme going and they look very pretty. They are trifold but they have different ones.

Placecards are pretty too there...same price. I am attaching on the top left of the placecard a little heart that I got at Michael's for $2.99 for about 25 I think.

Thanks for the info on the wedding programs. I haven't seen them but I'll definitely check them out. I'm starting to have a bit of a heart theme too-it wasn't planned, just came out that way.

The package directs you to a website called Uprint.com which holds the program template. It is soooooo easy...if I could do it anyone can!

I'm actaully making my placecards and programs. My brother can get me some white cardstock for free, and I have some extra vellum laying around. I'm going to get little white bows and make the placecards from those. When I have a sample, I'll post a pic
