I'm back......and married! (long)

Hi girls!
I got married on April 20th at the Watermill.
I have no complaints about them, they were
wonderful! My vendors.....
Patken Photographers- Still waiting for
my pictures, but Steve was so nice!
Country Arts & Flowers- Our flowers looked
awesome!
Royalty Limos- had grease in our 1931 Plymouth
and got my dress dirty on the way to the chuch.
My dad noticed it and complained to the guy.
I didn't find out until after the reception.
(Thank God). They will be getting a letter from
me!
In the Mix DJ- I love Danny. He did 2 of my
friend's weddings. He is truly the best!
Honeymoon- Sandles St. Lucia Golf Resort.
Not worth the $4,500 for a week. The food
sucked and the service was worse. They will
be getting a letter also!
Am I forgetting anyone?

I lisa, we are getting married in 19 days! :-) Can you tell me more about Steven from Patken. We are using him as well. Did you tip him and how much. How was the service you recieved from him, etc. Any info. would be greatly appreicated!

Denisemang.....

Steve was great! We gave him $100
and his assistant, also named Steve,
$50. We also gave Larry (the video
guy) $50. It was drizzling when we
got to the Watermill but we were
determined to get outside photos.
Steve said 'We were good sports'
and did them very quickly! I'll let
you know how my pictures come out.

Hi,
I am so glad you had a wonderful day! My wedding is at the watermill Sept. 27th, glad they were goo for you.
What had you decided for the cake? How did it taste? Is the food at the watermill as good as everyone says? Did you get to eat at the cocktail hour?
Also who did your makeup and how was it?

Deb......

We went with the Princess Fondant
Cake. It was $250, but well worth
it. It was so pretty! At the reception,
we only ate what we fed each other,
but the next day we had some, it
was really good! :)The food was very
good according to everyone. I hardly
ate, but my HUSBAND did, lol! Paula
Young did my makeup, she's great.

Question about the Watermill: did you have you reception there? If so, when did you reahearse? Brian, my banquet mgr. said that we would be rehearsing 15 minutes before the ceremony!! It's indoors. I am so nervous about this, b/c the ceremony is at 1, i have a hair and makeup appt at 9, will be done by 11, and then we are taking pics before the ceremony. I have no idea how to make time to rehearse and concentrate so soon before the ceremony.
What did you do?? Thanks so much!

Sorry I could not warn you about Sandals sooner. My travel agent who travels the Caribbean extensively warned me off of Sandals. She said you pay so much money only for the name. We are going to ST.Lu. but we are staying at the body holiday.

YOur day sounded wonderful tho. Be blessed and may you have many years of happy togetherness

I went to Sandals St. Lucia, and we had a BLAST!!! But everyone has there own opinions. That is a shame you didnt have a good time.

Awesome have a great married life!!

Ps. Sorry about Sandals, we heard that the drinks are watered down and the service wasen't that great for a full week, that it was a great long weekend place. So, we went for the cruise, view changes all the time, great food, great entertainment, nice room and just pay the extra money for liquor if needed! I hope the weather was great in Saint. Lucia?? Was it!??
