How was the CH? How was the gazebo decorated? Was it very dark inside the main room? How was the dessert? Did they upgrade on anything? DId you get champagne and strawberries when you enter.

i went to a wedding at the riviera last summer. THe ch was very nice. I liked how it was outside and nice view. The food was very good, and they kept refilling things. It was a beautiful day out so it was nice to be outside. I have pictures from a ceremony, ill post it now but i think they decorate it however you want, im guessing your florist takes care of that part, not 100% sure but usually how it happens, unless the riviera does it for you. It wasnt very dark inside the main room. The dessert was good. I dont remember getting champagne and strawberries when we entered

well to start off.. the weather was BEAUTIFUL!!! we got there at 9:30 am but they did not let us in to get ready until 10am...

i had spoken to the Bride and MOB and mentioned 11 ppl for makeup will take a while with 2 ppl that we shoudl see if we can get inside at 930am... with that we were told 930 we can get in.. but we hung out until 10....

the guys were ready in 5 min and began taking pictures.

the bridal suite was great... so nice, but real tiny for the amt. of ppl that was with us... no worries we had the balcany, and it was roomy again!

ont thing i did not like was that the woman that was waiting to us, asked us if things were ok and she was GREAT, but she seemed to be the only one working, and she was running around sooo much... (i felt bad for her) and bc i only saw her working it took a while for us to get cheese and crackers to us upstairs to munch on, and orange juice and coffee... again, she was the only one really working

the inside room was beautiful, and the outside as well, the gazebo was decorated with tulle and flowers, but i believe it was the brides flowers not the RH.

the drinks were strong! i was not drinking but i did have a sip from a friends drink and holy moly!!

downstairs there was a red drink in champagne glasses... i dont kno what it was.. but there were no strawberries that i can remember. there was also cheese, crackers, grapes, and cold cuts downstairs for the guest as they arrived.

the bride also greeted guest with the groom as everyone settled in.

ceremony was great, windy, but great...
one thing... there was geese poo where we were standing... well one big piece(s) near the BM and we couldnt stand on the brick, we were airating the grass and that was a pain bc i was half on brick half on grass and my dress was still touching the poo...

again that was the ONLY poo i saw, it was annoying bc we were all in the grass... just before try to check the grounds if you can.

i loved being off the water it was great!

the CH was outside, and the only complaint i have is that the buffet servers left... the FOBs mother was never served... seh was waiting on the buffet line and the servers left and she stood there waiting and no one came back... so eventually she had to serve herself (shes in her 90's and the FOB was really upset) bc other guests were served adn thats why she got on the line and then she was the one to not get help

Fh got me food.. and i had colored pasta and tortollini (yummy) meatballs (yummy) and spagetti (yummy but REAL difficult to eat!)also i did not have a place to sit... but there was seating.. i was just running around...
she had about 120 guests

indoors was no dark, it was lit brightly.
the tables had water, no sodas or wine... onyl complaint was that we had to ask numerous times for more water, and eventually had to go to the bar for glasses of water.

appet. was toast with cheese, olives, and tomat. sause... that was REAL good...

salad i did not eat.. i only like Romaine , so i was being picky but i did eat teh walnuts out of the salad...
next was penne alla vodka... it was good... i could have eaten more.
dinner was mahi-mahi, pork chop, veal or chicken...
i got the pork .. it was good... not medium rare liek 3 or us requested.. it was too cooked for us. it was also a little fatty but it was good. it came with potatoes and string beans.. both real good.

dessert, they had extra cakes and cookies and the chocolate fountain in the other room, but when i got there all teh cake was gone i didnt wait that long but no cake for me.. i did have rice crispy square in teh chocolate... but that was all bc all the fruit was gone also...

some ppl i heard in teh wedding party also spoke about not seeing the fountain or knowing where it was (be it was in teh next room in the corner.... i thikn it was kinda hidden) the MC did announce the desserts but still i think some ppl either knew and found it or was too late like me and missed out.

thats all for now.. if you have anything else jsut ask..

i have to go out for a bit... bbl

i hope i didnt disappoint anyone...

honestly i was in the wedding party and WE the party was not attended to..our table as well was not catered to.
we (the entire bridal party) was at the bar getting drinks... i dont care if we are out and walking around there shoudl be water at the table...

i was not impressed. the food was ok.
i was personally peeved that as a BM we did ALOT to make sure the bride was comfortable.

Thanks so much for your honesty. I think that is terrible - all tables should be cared for. The server could have asked where you guys were and gone to the bar and said, 'I am taking orders for your table what would you like!' So listen tell me what you know, and again your honesty is needed about Chateau Briand... Food/service, etc...

Again, thanks!

i got married there; the food was great, the view is awesome, and you can't beat the price.

chateu briand - didn't like the decor and the food wasn't great, but that was years ago; it may have changed.
