I'm Back!!!***Updated with LONG review **
i'm back from my bachlorette party! It was amazing! The view from the room was incredible and the events that happened were absolutely priceless! But I just couldn't wait to come home yesterday! I'll give a mini review and post pics in a bit!

Ok...so here is my review...
Overall: A+++++ The trip was AMAZING!!! I was a little apprehensive at first but when we got our room upgraded all of my doubt flew right out the window and in the ocean

Riu : C
This is the hotel we stayed in which was very dated and heavily in need of a renovation. They are closing next month for renovations and I really think it's going to be beautiful. It was all-inclusive so we didn't have to pay for food or drinks. My MOH and I stayed in one room and my MaOH and BM stayed in another room. The view was unbelievable!
Riu food: C
Breakfast was really good. Every morning they had about 6 different types of fresh squeezed juices. Standard eggs, bacon, fruit, pancakes, etc. and it really made up for dinner.
Lunch: never got to experience lunch because my MOH and I were always out doing excursions. lol
Dinner: The buffet wasn't the greatest. They had a lot of Bahamian cuisine as far as the way things were made. For example: fried calamari...with mustard![]()
. I was a little baffled at that one but it wasn't the worst. We also ate Japanese for dinner and the chicken was really dry and tough. It was my first experience trying lychees and I really wasn't a fan of the way they tasted.
Weather: B
The weather was beautiful. The wind made it cold and on Monday and Tuesday there was no swimming because the waves were huge and tide was high. The temperature was high 80's and partly cloudy skies.
Entertainment: A+
Every night they had a show and a pre-show. We never made it to the actual show but the pre-show was name that tune. I know music pretty well but I kept getting the titles wrong. With that i had to go to the bar about 8 times to get a shot! It was hysterical! One kid that was in there with his father looked like Mikey from the commercials. The hostess of the show said something about his father not saying anything so he sent the father to the bar BUT the kid ran up instead to take the shot! It was HILARIOUS!!!
Atlantis: A++++++++++
I couldn't believe the beauty and detail they put into Atlantis...it was like being in Disney World! From the fountains to the octopus lamps to the blow fish emblems the decor was amazing! We went there every night and had a blast!
Aura: A++++
This was a club inside Atlantis and it normally is $50 to get in but we got in for free because we had passes! I didn't even think to bring my ID but they let me in anyway. The music was good and very diverse. But like everything in Atlantis drinks were expensive. We went on a Saturday and made some friends along the way. My MaOH and BM left an hour after we got there...but my MOH and I stayed until about 1:30...our feet were killing us!!!
Dolphin Encounters: A++++
This has been something that I've really wanted to do and i finally got to do it! I told FH that I wanted to do it on our HM and he said he would watch...so now it's one thing checked off my to do list![]()
My MOH and I went and my MaOH and BM stayed at the hotel because my MaOH promised her son that she would take him. So my MOH and I went by ourselves. The dolphins were so smooth not rubbery at all like I have been told by many people. Well maybe their mouths are rubbery but definitely not their bodies. We swam with one of the dolphins from Flipper (the one with Elijah Woods in 1996). The water was absolutely FREEZING but it was worth it!!!!
Straw Market:
I wasn't impressed. I thought it was going to be different but it was like Canal Street. i was here nor there about it.
Senor Frogs: A+++
We went on a Sunday and we didn't know that basically NOTHING happens there on Sundays. We wore our shirts that I made. So we ate dinner and had a few drinks. The food was the best we had the whole trip and they give you a lot of it! There was a present after dinner lol. A lap dance from our waiter which took us all by surprise and at the end we all got a shot poured in our mouths! I was mortified but at the same time I couldn't stop laughing! I have pics but I have to upload them.
Dragons: A
Since Senor Frogs was not an option for drinks and dancing we were going to go to another club in town. BUT we found that either they didn't open right away or they were closed! We took a taxi back to the hotel and walked over to the Atlantis to go to Aura. Aura was closed but we heard music lol. We went over to the bar and there was a dance floor...we had a night! The music was pretty good and they played the Cha Cha Slide and Cupid Shuffle! I'm so glad that we learned it so now it will be played at our wedding!!! The night couldn't have been planned any better. I had my tiara on and we had light up rings. Some guy came up to us and asked what were were smoking...and some girl came up to me said 'OMG you're getting married...YOU'RE SO STUPID!!' dragged me on the dance floor and started dancing with me! It was priceless! The night ended with our stomachs killing us from laughing so hard!
Stuart Cove: A
We were supposed to go on a boat ride to go parasailing, jet skiing, snorkeling, banana boat, etc. but it got canceled at the last minute because of the rough water and strong wind. We ended up going snorkeling instead and we had a blast! We were taken to three different locations. The third one was in the middle of the ocean and we got to swim with the Caribbean Reef Shark! Look closely in some of the pics![]()
The last night we went back to Dragons.
Atlantis Aquarium:
LOVED it! My MOH and I went and MaOH and BM went to the spa to get massages. Tuesday at 10 right before we had to leave. It was great!
