I'm baking cookies tonight!

Love baking holiday cookies!!

And I just bought a new kind of jam for in between the layers of my rainbow cookies - black cherry conserve with amaretto

mmm sounds good - I made those last yr with Mom - we did some with apricot jam, they were unbelievably good!

I make them all the time. They're a little tedious at first, but once you get the hang of it, they're pretty easy. EVERYONE loves them!!!! I get soooooo many compliments on them!

I'm making rainbow cookies, butter spritz cookies (trying out the cookie press) and gingerbread men.

I think I know it off the top of my head, but I don't want to mess it up, so I'll bring my recipe in tomorrow and post it for you all...they're so yummy!!! For Halloween I made orange and yellow ones instead of the usual pink yellow and green.

rainbow cookies are my absolute FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are they very difficult to make, Farah? B/c one time my cousin made an stab at them and it was a total disaster (though we both fight over who gets to eat more of them at holiday time )

Or maybe I should just hop a flight to London and bum some off ya

I'm makign spritz cokies this week too. My2 friends LOVE them & they are having a party Saturday, so I have to bust out the press this week.

Well, let's put it this way, if I'm baking, I'm most likely also eating!

AND, I'm eating sausages tonight (again!)

*sigh* we're working our way through a package of 40 venison sausages...when it comes to meat, DH likes to buy in bulk!! No kidding, he gets up at some god forsaken hour that's not really morning, but more like middle of the night, puts on his little back pack and goes up to the wholesale meat market - where they do like hard core trading beginning at 3am for whole dead lambs and pigs and stuff! THen he takes it all with him to work and stashes it in the fridge...the girls freak out!! Why is the fridge full of MEAT?!? they squeal!!! Sick, I know, but it makes him happy and he thinks he's pulling a fast one on the grocery store....
