Awww...I'm sorry I have been best friends with the same 2 girls (they are twins!!) since kindergarten. When we were 13, they moved from Port Jeff Station(right around the corner from me) to Massapequa Park. I know that's not far, but at 13, when we didn't drive, it seemed like half way across the country!! We were DEVASTATED!!! Our parents took turns each month, driving us to see eachother, until we got our licenses, and of course we'd talk on the phone allll the time. To this day, we have the most amazing friendship that I would not trade for anything. Our children call eachother 'aunt' and husbands 'uncle', and I know that we will be in eachothers lives FOREVER. I guess what all this rambling is about is...true friendships can survive all. Just because she's moving, she will still be your best friend, and just a phone call away. And just think...now you have an excuse to take a vacation and visit eachother!!!
