I'm an administrative assistant in a legal affairs dept (hope I don't offend anyone, but YAWN). I was laid off last June (was a marketing manager for fragrance company) and took this job after temping for a few months b/c I wanted the benefits, etc. but I'm sort of over-qualified. I want a new job! And on L.I.!

I know how you feel, I commute over 1 hour each way to sit and try to motivate myself to make sales calls. I am still new, so I have to force myself to do it b/c I am afraid I sound dumb Its much safer to cruise around LIW

I wish, I work in Stamford. Mile wise, its only about 40 miles but with traffic it takes me anywhere from an hour to an 1 1/2. I am looking for a job in New Haven though

same for me...on both points. I have work I'm avoiding and I leave at 5:30 which will never get here!
