I'm BURNT, sick, and it's going to rain

OK--The wedding is Sat.--My FH convinced me to go tanning w/him last night b/c he said I really needed some color as I was looking way to pale--Should have known better b/c now I am burnt and I have the 'raccoon eyes' effect. Anyone know some remedies to cure a sunburn fast??

#2--I have ben sick the past week and lost my voice, so now I sound like a man--I have this raspy voice that is insane!

#3--Looks like it is going to rain Saturday

Despite all of this, I am still excited about my wedding and seeing all of my family (they all fly in tomorrow night )

Just needed to vent--

Take aspirin for the burn.
It may fade a bit too.

Tea for the throat?

My other cure for everything is lots of water and a good multivitamin.

The sunburn should be gone by Saturday, dont worry! ALOE VERA gel is THE BEST for sunburn! Make sure you MOISTURIZE like crazy so you dont peel...drink LOTS of water! and REST REST REST! The raccoon eyes will look worse if you don't get any sleep!
But most important....just HAVE FUN!

Clinque makes a great aloe moisturizer that works really well on soothing burns. Take a little honey for your throat or you can try my Great-G-ma's remedy of a gargling a teaspoon of salt in warm water for a sore throat. If you do it twice a day it should clear up. Your day will be wonderful regardless! Best of luck!!!

Go to a drug store and buy a big bottle of Aloe Vera (the clear kind- not the cream) and lather yourself in it- it really helps take the sting away and it will prevent peeling. I just sunburned my legs on Monday (visiting in Florida) and they are almost totally back to normal today so it should only take a few days to go fade. Good luck and feel better!

Aww... what a crappy week you are having. All I can give you is :

You'd be surprised at how much better you can feel by the weekend .. don't worry, the sunburn will fade fast and if you give yourself a little time to rest, you'll start feeling a lot better, overall. There's been times I've felt AWFUL during the week only to have a turnaround by the weekend ... it'll all be GREAT, trust me!

Relax, get some sleep and as stated above aloe vera is the best remedy for sunburn.

Vitamin C for the sore throat and cold.

Everything will be wonderful and you will look gorgeous on Saturday.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED THIS IMPORTANT
INFORMATION.

milk of magnesia, soak for 20 min. and let dry, will last for many years!

will absorb into the towel.

Remove labels off glassware etc. rub with Peanut butter!

Baked on food - fill container with water, get a Bounce paper softener and
the static from the Bounce towel will cause the baked on food to adhere to
