I'm choking over here!

My allergies have been KILLING me all week and I've had this annoying tickle in my throat that makes me keep coughing.

So I'm sitting here reading through the boards and I start coughing and can't stop. I try to drink water, but I'm coughing and I can't get my breath.

My mother is in her bedroom across the hall. Think she comes in to see how I'm doing?

My father is reading the newspaper in the kitchen. I finally make it downstairs to try and get more water and I'm hacking up a lung all the way down, tears coming down my face, not able to breath and HE KEEPS READING THE PAPER!

So finally I get out, 'HELLO? I'm CHOKING over here...can anybody help me?'

He looked at me and said, 'What? Water go down the wrong way?' and went back to reading the paper.

Any my mother was always afraid that something would happen to me when I lived alone.

Got to love parents sometimes!

Sometimes I will have a cough/choke like that and FH will be in on the same couch as me and not say a word! When its done I say HELLO did you not notice I was coughing. He says oh I thought you would be ok!

WHAT IF I WASNT!

Parents, LOL.
My dog has his allergies worse then my son. They both take the same medicine!!!

I swear all that kept flashing through my head was that episode of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' when Debra and Ray are sitting on the couch and she starts choking on an orange and Ray is just looking at her and says, 'You need some water or something?'

parents are amazing sometimes lol

OMG!! It's been about twenty minutes since my episode and my father just knocked on my door and said, 'So did you unchoke yourself?'

thankfully the pollen count isn't that high here yet anyway. but i hope you feel better
