I'm CLUELESS!!

Does anyone know aprox how much I should pay for a DJ. I want someone really good and add on's such as percussionist and singer if possible. I've been mainly looking at bands because I thought that's was I wanted and I know the pricing for that but I'm clueless as to DJ's. Any help would be great!! Thanks girls.

For a DJ and MC you can expect to pay between 1300-1900$, with the percussionist and singer, I'd gues between 2500-3500$- a bit more pricy, but def. cheaper than a band!

My DJ/MC package is $1600, and I think each extra person is 300-500. So for a DJ, MC and percussionist I would think at least $2000.

totally disagree with this price... i got a percussionist, piano player for cocktail hour, zap shots, photo monthage and gobo. It was less than 2500.

Check out Bravura music. They have singers as well as percussionist, sax and some others. They are a bit pricey but good.

I contacted Bravura and their packages start at 2100 not including any of the add ons i want. I'm guessing it's going to be close to $4k with everything. I think thats a lot for a DJ.

Does anyone know any other DJ's with singers?

I am using stalight express... i am using their italian wedding singer... he is freaking un reallllllllllllll... i cried when i heard him sing...def check them out

I think u shouldnt have to pay more than $2300 for a basic package depending on what you want. If you get add on's, of course it will cost more.

We are using Leveldjs.com

They are AMAZING.

We are having a DJ/MC and 60inch Plasma to display photo's of people dancing throughout the wedding. They were really reasonable. We are also getting a steel drum guy for the cocktail hour and he will be playing percussion the whole rest of the night with the DJ.
