up until now my whole theme was red roses.... everything was red roses......
but thursday night I went the the showcase where I am getting married (the Carlyle) and I saw white rose candelabras in the ballroom (I was doing red black magic rose candelabras)
It was beautiful!!! Now I don't know which ones to go with...... ughhhhh! I was at a wedding last summer with all black rose high centerpieces and it was so beautiful too.... the white was just elegant and I'm afraid the red wont stand out as much.... or the white will be too plain... I don't know which color to go with..
This totally messes me up b/c I need to pick my bridesmaid dress colors soon!
I'm sorry----- everyone says it's only flowers but I think it totally sets the ambiance of the room....

You could do a mix--all red roses on one table, all white on another and just alternate. It will give the room a lot of visual interest IMO. Good luck!! I'm having trouble making up my mind as well--pink & white or pink & celadon. FH thinks I'm a nutcase to stress so much about flowers--they just don't get it!

thats a great idea and a friend of mine said that but it's not me.. i am so anal... everthing needs to be matching and even...so on.... a little weird i know but we all have our quirks!
anyway- here are pics of the ballroom and centerpeice...
Yeah maybe a mix would be nice. Don't stress your self out about it, go with your gut. I tend to do the same thing and always come back to my first choice. Good Luck!

The centerpiece is really pretty!! Don't worry about the matching/being anal issue--I'm the same way. If you wanted to do all white roses as the main centerpiece, you could also try incorporating 2 smaller arrangements on the tables of red roses with white accents? I think it's fine to have 2 colors as long as you incorporate them well.

I had ivory roses and greenery. That contrast was pretty in a room that already had color. But in a ballroom like you posted I do think a mix would brighten it up a notch. Maybe you can do a combo or the two colors you like

Hmmm....the room looks like it has a lot of white already. In my opinion, you should go with your first choice, the red roses (or something with color), so the flowers do not get lost in the background. It looks like the chairs have a bunch of colors to them. It's hard to tell, but is one of them red? If so, the red roses would tie in the chairs too.

the chairs are a deep mahagony with deep colors on the fabirc part...
the cram roses are classy and the red is too-
i'm just afraid the red will be too dark and the cream won't be enough color.
i'mnot one for all mixed color flowers .. it's just not me.. so i just have to decide btwn all red or all cream.
