one of my bestfriends went looking at halls with her cousin who just got engaged. she said that fox holllow and the cresthollow gave her a quote of 85 or 86 bucks for a fri night in june im 2010. could that be true???? i got really mad bc im def paying more than that and im getting married in december, but on a saturday. i just alwaysss loved that time of the year and i love how fox hollow decorates for christmas but i dont get how its less on a fri in june???? could that be right??????????

The difference is that you are getting married on a Saturday and she is on a Friday. Also some places still consider December to be a pricey month.

wow that really stinks! ...most RH told me when i was looking at places that a friday night is gonna be more popular and more expensive down the road....but i guess thats not true?

They quoted us $85 pp for summer 09. It's for a Friday if it makes you feel any better.
ETA: They = Fox Hollow, we didn't look at Crest Hollow.

I got quoted 65 for a friday night in March of 09 and if I wanted a thursday for the summer it would have been the same. Other places gave me quotes for fridays in the winter and when I asked about thursdays in the summer they atleast went down $5 pp.
