They are taken after the wedding with your wedding dress or another white dress, and you do things you normally wouldn't do while wearing a wedding dress, ie: lay in grass, go in the water, etc.
PS. I don't understand what the point of them is though lol

I think it's just to get different shots that you would never normally get in your actual wedding dress.
I've talked to photographers who either do e-shoots or a TTD pics.

Yeah, you take pics in poses where the dresses could get trashed...IE a beach, mud, rain, etc.

A lot of people don't actually trash the dress during these shoots. Others get really into it. (I mean paint splatters and all on their dresses!) Now they've actually begun calling it 'Rock the Frock' instead because so many people were in an uproar on how awful it is to trash a dress when you could donate it to a bride in need. For what I paid for my dress, I should be able to do whatever I want with it! We're going to be doing a 'Rock the Frock' session at Coney Island! FH is actually really excited about it! If you really wanted to trash a dress, you could always get a less expensive one though, say at the DB $99 sale or something.
