I'm Confused

I just saw another girl on here with the Same Date and Same RH as me They are supposed to be a one Wedding only place and even if they are before me I can't see how much before because our Hospitality Hour starts at 5 and Cocktails at 6. Should I call the place?

Yea, I would call...

Her reception probably ends at 5pm, and while your 5pm CH is going on, they'll be cleaning up her reception room and setting it up for you.

My sister was married there on a Sunday, and there was a wedding before hers.

Yeah, lots of people have day weddings!

At one wedding places they assure that the first bride is out before the next comes in. Her party is probably 12-4

Just be glad you aren't getting married there. My sister was, on the first floor, and during her ceremony we heard everything being moved and stuff upstairs as they reset the reception room for her party.

I'm sure this is it. At my hall, they didn't want cocktail hour to start earlier than 6pm because just in case there is a party in there that ends at 4, there will be plenty of time to clean it up and flip it. (Though when I booked, there was nothing in there before hand). The way I look at it is that that's why when we sign a contract its for specific times, and not just that day. They're obligated to give you that room(s) from 6pm to 11pm lets say and that's it.

I'm sure its an unsettling feeling, but they've been in business a long time and I'm sure that everyone here has been to a wedding reception or event where there was a party before hand in the same room and we didn't even know. Everything will work out perfectly.

ITA. The only thing I would call and question is will you be able to check out the reception room all set up before guests go in? I wanted to take pics in the empty reception room and I wanted my photog to take pics of the decor so that was important to me. We ducked out of CH halfway through and took photos in there.

Not that the other bride is on here for me but there is a wedding before mine. My reception starts at 6 and I cant be there before 5 because of the other bride. But yes, there will only be one bride there at a time.

This is why I had it clearly stated in my contract that I would be the only wedding that day. They might have another event but not a wedding.
