i'm confused now

haha its pretty funny that i'm confused haha. i'm having my ceremony at my church in bay shore and the receptions going to be at the riverview in oakdale and i was really really excited and happy about it. but yesterday me and FH went to the vanderbilt museum and now i want to have my wedding there because its beautiful. the only thing is...is do they do receptions? i was looking at the site before and it was showing site fees and the last thing said to use the rear lawn it was $7500 and it fits up to 300 people and the hours are 5-10...now do you think that could be for receptions? the only thing is then i would have to do catering. i was only thinking of the ceremony because my parents belong to centerport yacht club which is down the road from the museum and i thought ooo reception there...but i talked to my dad and he said he wouldnt be able to afford it. now do i attempt to find out anything about the vanderbilt...or should i just put it behind me and do what i already planned? help!!! errr its so confusing!!!

sorry for the book

What do you have to loose... just call and find out.

I would keep yourself from getting stressed out and just stick to what you already have planned.

But why don't you go there in between the church and reception to take pics??

i would love to get my pictures taken there...but its really out of the way. i'm talking about the vanderbilt museum in northport...not the mansion at dowling or wherever it is. but even if i did the pictures there its like a half hr from where i live so it would be like i dunno 2 hrs until i would get to the reception i'll miss the reception haha. my reception is at 12 and the ceremony is at 10 as is. err oh well i'll just stick with what i got hehe

hey!
i know the vanderbilt does receptions (i emailed them myself, but i don't remember any of the specifics), but i'd be careful if you already booked the other place. you don't want to loose out on any money. i'd check in with them before making a decision.
