I'm copying takeoutcook!

She posted about being a Cunningham and referencing to the tv show Happy Days ...

I was thinking of doing something similar .. my FH is a former Marine Corps and is now in the Air Force. I wanted to do something 'military-ish' but couldn't come up w/ songs or anything like that ... pics, too ... anything!!

Anyone have ideas!??

Try cedarhust paper in Patchogue or a party place maybe you can do little american flags on each table setting or have the presidents march song when you enter, I dont know just some ideas. Good luck

the air force theme song is 'Wild Blue Yonder'
My fh's bro is the best man and in the af academy and i think we will have him enter the reception to that

its a great rallying song and everyone will eb cheering

What were the squadron names your FH has been in? you could do table names like that

Feel free to copy!!!!

And I love the entrance song idea! isnt there a song 'I love a man in a uniform'

Is he going to wear his uniform at the wedding? You can re-create the final image from 'An officer and a gentleman' when Richard Gere carries Debra Winger out of the factory and she's wearing his officer hat. . . you can leave the reception that way

Are there going to be other officers/military people at the wedding - can they hold their sabers up and you guys walk under them? (I know nothing about the military and that may very well be a NAVY thing - I'm totally ignorant)

we're entering to the Navy hymn--both of us are (i was until i got out last year) officers...so maybe one of the anthems?
