Great question. i'm kinda wondering about that myself.
I'm not a BTDT mom (yet) but my parents are divorced and its not pretty. Planning my wedding was very stressful try to make sure no one's feelings were hurt but its impossible.
My mom pretty much doesn't even like to be in the same room as my father. I'm stressing over whats going to happen after the baby is born (christening parties, first birthdays...).
It stinks because events that are supposed to be nice times for families always cause me a ton of worry and stress.

I don't know if this will help but DH and his sister HATE and I mean HATE one another. Ava will be 5 months old and his sister still has not seen her and for her christening decided that she had a 'work function' on a Sunday
If there should ever be a time where she wants to be an aunt I will have her over and Neil will not be home this way there won't be any friction. I guess with parents you can have them over at separate times and at the hospital come during different sets of visiting hours.
Another thought is to sit them down and tell them that THIS IS THEIR GRANDCHILD and to learn to get along for the baby's sake. I know I wouldn't want my child to hear grandma saying bad things about grandpa and vise versa.
Hugs to you sweetie - I pray that all works out for you.

My FH parents are divorced and both remarried I am currently planning my wedding and its hard cuz I don't want the mother or the stepmother to feel like Im favoring one over the other the father and stepfather could care less. At my daughters christening I wanted my parents and both sets of his parents to sit at the same table along with us and the godparents but lets jsut say that didn't happen so I dind't bother having that type of table.
