I am so disgusted by the world today people are just so downright rude I can't believe it sometimes! I work in a clothing store when people shop it's as if they pick something up and just drop it on the floor and before you know it you're up to your knees in piles of crap! Then I see this family watching their little boy climb up onto a table. So I say to them and point - 'He's climbing on the table!' Then they yell at him. Then I go on break and I cant even get out of the mall because people don't know how to drive. Then I go to Panera bread and this woman brings her dog inside! They made her leave! Then, as I'm getting ready to leave. This man starts putting his sodas down on the table before I even got my coat on! Then he says 'Sorry not trying to push you out or anything...' I totally ignored him. What a freakin day....

i used to work at a clothing store and had people jsut leaving clothes all ove the place or knocking them off hangers and just walking away and it drove me crazy. i always make sure i put stuff back neatly now. sorry you had such a bad day.

The man trying to get my table was what really set me off the deep end lol. All I wanted was to have my 45 min break and everyone leave me alone lol. Anyway when I got home FH cleaned up a bit and cooked a nice dinner and had a glass of wine waiting for me, he must have known lol...

i used to work in a sports memorobilia store... but they had t-shirts and jersey and what not. when i used to see people unfold shirts to look at them, then just toss them into a pile... i would walk right over to them, grab the shirt and say 'it's actually really interesting how we fold these. watch how easy it is... '(then i would fold it)... then i would put it back where it belonged and say to them 'wasnt that easy?' then i would walk away

I have to say, I used to always fold clothes after I looked at them (neatly too, might I add). Then...on more than one occasion, after I folded it, a sales associate would unfold and then re-fold it THEIR way. So even if I tried to be curteous it bit me in the butt! I'm sure some stores make their sales associates fold everything a certain way but I had to stick up for the few people like me who still have some common decency left!

Stacey I totally know how you are feeling! I have worked in retail for over 8 years and people are animals!!! I hate people when I am working because they think you are a piece of junk and can talk to you however. Last week I had someone curse at me and I had him asked to leave by security!!!
You're right, there are some people who are neat but let me tell ya, when I walk into a fitting room and see 15 pairs of pants turned inside out all balled up on the floor thats the kind of stuff that gets me angry. I could care less about the tables!!
Im not tryin to sound rude or anything but they cut our hours slim to none and its been so busy and we are all just burnt out from the holidays season. Its been mostly just managers working. They should have given us more hours!

I remember when I worked for GAP and they would cut hours, it absolutly stinks and is not fair to anyone (employees or customers) Luckily now they can't cut my hours since I am salary and a visual merchandiser so we are never cut!

I've been shopping on black friday...day after xmas...people are animals. I could never ever work in retail and give all you girls major credit for doing so!!

Oooh, I used to work at GAP too, thats where FH and I met, he was my BOSS! But - I am also a salaried manager so my hrs weren't cut but it was like stressful cause we had no one working and a million people! Ahhhh well today was the last of hell and tomorrow starts our HAPPY TIME lol

FYI - I've tried to quit but I've been doing it so long that salary-wise it isn't worth it to leave. They make it so you can never leave lol
