I'm Divorced!!!!!...finally (it's a good thing) kinda long - sorry!

Kinda long story - I'll try to make it short I married an @#$%&*! a few years ago, he is the biological father of my son Jordan. In my infinite wisdom I thought I was doing the right thing by marrying him - BAD IDEA! He was verbally abusive as well as lazy, a pathological liar... I could go on! Anyway, I realized that I had made a mistake and went on with my life with my son (who is a total blessing in my life and my little angel) I grew up with my now FH and we loved each other from the start, but lost touch, we found each other again and it was like we picked up where we left off and now we are getting married!!!!! I thought that my divorce was final. My lawyer was an idiot, she told me that everything was done, the divorce was final yadda yadda. So Chris and I planned a big wedding for us and our family to celebrate us finally finding each other and living happily ever after - until we found our that the divorce wasn't final with only a few months till the wedding. Being that I don't know where my Ex was it was rather difficult to find him to get the divorce papers signed again, so I thought that Chris and I weren't going to be able to get married, even though we only had a couple months to go and everything planned and paid for.
My new lawyer called me last night and said that I am FINALLY divorced, after 2 years of this bologna.
WOO HOO! Chris and I can go on with our life and be happy together, what a relief!

I was 22 when I got married - I had Jordan when I was 21 - he was a surprise - but the best surprise I've ever had! As awful as my ex was and having to go through all that BS with him, it was worth it, and I wouldn't change anything - otherwise I wouldn't have Jordan.
