I'm DJ shopping..

I'm looking for a DJ and a steel drum guy. I was hoping to book the same vendor for both services. Any suggestions? Also has anyone ever heard of or done business with Premier Events? I visited them not too long ago and want some input if any?

I know that Long Island Sound is awesome! I heard them play at a few showcases and each time they blow me away. They have a steel drum! If I werent having a band they would NO DOUBT be the DJ of my choice!

We are using Bravura - they have the steel drum band - Island Mystic - that we are using for cocktail hour.

Re: I'm DJ shopping..

I'll second LI Sound!! We booked their DJ/MC team with Chris, they're really good and we can't wait!!!! Their steel drum player is Howie and he's really good too, highly recommend. I would've gotten him too but he didn't fit into the budget.

My DJ has that, too... he's reasonably priced, very classy and fun! Try him out! (Steve at Then Til Now)

Same here. We're also using their jazz trio for cocktail hour and we saw the pricing for the steel drum band (very reasonable).

My brother used them as well. They were very good!

I am using High Voltage. I am not sure if Vinny has that as an extra, but you can ask. He is great to work with!!!

Re: I'm DJ shopping..

We're using Big Hits entertainment. They've djed a ton of weddings of coworkers nd friends. They have a bunch of stuff, such as the steel drum player, that you can add on. A friend of mine used Starlight Express and had the percussionist and he was fabulous.
