IM DOING THE HORRIBLE TASK....

Of taking the christmas tree down!! URRGGG... plus so many people bought me christmas decorations for christmas this year.. and i hate that cause i feel guilty throwing them away, but every year i only do my tree in two different colors, and i have MORE than enough stuff, so now i have SOOO much more to put away this year,, not to sound ungrateful but im cranky since this is NOT what i wanted to do today!!! LOL

Our tree is still up Hoping to take it down tomorrow. Always find it so depressing - the holidays are 'officially' over

Mine's still up too. I'm working today so maybe tomorrow. At this point I just hope to get it down before February!!!

Putting it up is so much fun but the put away is painful.

I don't have a tree up this year (i wanted to wait until next year when we live together) but I have A LOT of Christmas crap all over!!! I am obviously avoiding taking it all down by being on the computer with you fine ladies!!

We took all the christmas stuff down yesterday-what a chore. Pine needles evrywhere! And now the place seems so empty-we felt like we were missing things around the house!

I took my tree down & had all xmas stuff packed away on New Years Day. I got FH to help me otherwise the tree would still be up.

Pack everything away while you make a nice fresh batch of chocalate chip cookies.Yum! That will make the task more enjoyable.

I did half of this today...took all ornaments off the tree and lights r down as well....waiting for dh to actually remove it from the house now. I put away all my snowmen ( I collect them) and garland from around the house. It was too cold to go outside today so that will be done tomorrow..so depressing taking stuff done.

We just finished taking everything down and it only took 2 HOURS-- I thought it would be much worse-- still have to do outside but that is DH's job--(not sure he knows that but it is FREEZING out!!!!)

OMG. so i take down all the christmas stuff and the house is back to normal and i go home last night and forgot that i didnt take down the outside lights!!! LOL... i told frank, if you want them down you take them down, if not were VERY VERY early for next christmas!!!
