For all of you who were interested in getting info or just simply getting a breast reduction...a while back we had that thread going. Well....it inspired me to do what I've been talking about for the past 15 years. Just 10 minutes-I called and made an appt. to see a cosmetic surgeon for a consultation!!! I can't believe I'm actually moving forward with this!!!! I'm scared and psyched all in one...

A few friends of mine had it done and were so happy afterwards. They said it was the best thing they ever did for their body.
I think their insurance covered the reduction because it was for medical purposes and not cosmetic (back aches, headaches, hunched over because of the weight, etc...) but that is something you will have to discuss with your doctor and insurance company.

One of my sisters had a reduction done and her insurance covered the whole thing. She was constantly getting backaches and it had to be done. She is so happy.

I work in a department store and used to head the foundations department. This customer had come in and told me she had a breast reduction from a 36fff to a 36c. She was so happy that she could buy a normal bra and be able to sleep on her stomach. She said there were many stitches but she was so happy with the results. Good luck to you!

Thanks girls--I'm really excited about this! Chippa--I'm 10000000000% certain my insurance will cover it...I have insanely bad backaches and am always hunched over. I'll keep everyone posted!! All the support means a lot to me...I haven't told my family because they're unsupportive about it. I've never met so many girls with the same problem then I have here--and that makes me feel soooooo much better!
