I just looked at the planning timeline on here and It says I should have done so much more by now! My wedding is 9 months away and all I did was book a rh, church and got my dress. I thought I had plenty of time for everything else. Should I be booking more already? Iv'e been very relaxed about wedding plans up till now. Please let me know whats important to do next! Thanks :)

you really do need to do photographer and dj/ band. Bm dresses can take time to come in, Several people on these boeard have more than a yr to go and cant get their top five choices for photographer. I would def. start.

i definetly would. if you have specific vendors in mind they might already be booked. im getting married in 2010 and the vendors im using already have multiple weddings booked for 2010.
i'm actually done booking all my vendors...the only thing i need is a dress
also you are getting married in august which is really popular for teachers so that month i would imagine books fast

ok i just looked at the time line and i think some things are a little crazy that they say 'should be done' I do think that you should have you major vendors booked or meeting with them like now- so go see some florists, photographers, video,dj and stuff like that....cause they do book up fast. but the one that makes me angry is the dresses one- it says 12 months to go that i should have gotten my dress and the BM's- come one- they dont need a year to come in...plus 2 of my girls are 7 months preggie- they're not gonna wanna try on dresses right now.

I did all my planning in 7 months...RH included...don't worry, you'll get it all done!
I would have your BP order their dresses...some places take that long to get them in and there are alterations...book your photog and video next, then flowers, then music. Rings, limos can wait until after you are done with your major vendors...not that I recommend it but we booked our limo 1 1/2 weeks before our wedding!!!

Don't get tied to time lines, everything works out in time. I am such a procrastinator, my wedding is 2 months away and I still have stuff to get done. I am a believer in everything happens the way its supposed to happen. Don't stress...enjoy.

Don't freak out, we've planned our wedding in 3 months and I'm really excited about how things have turned out. If we could pull some centerpieces out of thin air now I'd be totally done!

I wouldnt freak out... but I would get started booking all major vendors b/c a lot of them already have multiple weddings in August booked by now. Def. book your photography b/c that is really important, flowers, dj's etc. Have you done research on who you want to book? Don't freak out and rush to judgement and just book with anyone without doing your research. Who are you thinking of using? Maybe we can help
