I have my first hair and make-up trial at 1pm and first fitting at 4pm and I am NERVOUS.
My boss making the comment yesterday that she HATED her dress when she went to her first fitting doesnt make me feel any better and keeps going through my mind.

ITA - that's a crappy thing to say. I fell in love with my dress all over when I went to my first fitting - can't wait to go back and see HER again!

I dont know what I want thats the problem but I trust the 2 girls so I should be happy.

to be honest, i was really disappointed w my first fitting. i wanted my dress tight, and it was still so bigggg.
but they took it in and the 2nd fitting was MUCH BETTER and i was HAPPY
but i did leave the first fitting very upset
i hope you have a great 1st fitting...but if its not what you expect...just talk to the alterations team and trust them to do a great job!

I was nervous about my dress too at ALL three of my fittings!! It wasn't until the 3rd fitting that I finally got a really good sense of how it would fit me and that I absolutely loved it.
One suggestion - at your fittings, if you require hemming, please make sure that you walk on a hard surface in addition to carpet. You tend to sink into carpet and my dress was a tiny bit too long but I would have caught it had I walked on a hard surface. Also, do a couple stairs in it.
