I was just going to suggest Cactus also.....I think Christy used them......drop her a FM, she'll be able to help.

I have been to Barbara Ross in Commack and they are very good for updo's. They did a great job for my girlfriends wedding a few years back.

Maybe even try Bocu.....a few girls have used them also.

Good luck!!!!

Do you know of a particular hairdresser to ask for? The last place I went gave me an inexperienced person. I felt bad for her because she was uncomfortable imagine how I felt!! So, if you know of someone I would appreciate it.

Do you need your appointment for Sunday or Saturday? I don't know if they're open on Sundays.

The girl I go to is Christine. (She has worked for Maximas and recently left Shakiba in East Norwich.) I've never had an updo done by her, but she can handle my extremely curly hair which is rare. She's also very laid back...not 'stuffy' by any means. (I hate 'stuffy' hair dressers.)

If you're interested, the number is 516-922-1195. I was just there yesterday. (if you want my name for a referral, FM me )
