I'm getting a little nervous..

I haven't seen many brides booked at Villa Lombardis or many reviews. That makes me a little nervous bc I want to make sure I won't regret my decision. Please help ladies!!!

i felt the same way when i first got on this forum, but i think the key thing to remember is that not all LI brides are on the forum.

Yea I'm driving my FH insane we are arguing over this issue bc he is like you just can't make one decision and stick with it. I don't know why I'm like that. I hate it.. I really think the place is very nice I just don't want to have that feeling of regret later u know. We need to get moving with the rest of our plans but we cannot do that until I get over the fact that we are booked at a beautiful place and to just stick behind my decision.. There isn't going to be a wedding if I keep it up.

oh don't be worried at all... Villa Lombardis is amazing (food is unbelieveable!). And I know for use that tons of brides on here are booked with them.

is the only reason why you're not booking is b/c you don't see many brides on this forum booking at the same place?

I do not want to turn into BRIDEZILLA .. We have a certain budget so I need to be realistic about certain things. Is anyone else experiencing this as well?

i feel like i've seen tons on threads about that place. unless i'm thinking of a different one

No we are already booked. I just felt like we might have jumped the gun but we did go to almost every place on LI and this is the one that I liked the most. There were a few we didn't go to bc we knew they were out of our price range..

Thank you!! I just second guess myself and I'm really upsetting my FH because originally he wanted to book at Lombardis on the Sound but I like the look of Villa Lombardis better. I don't want to fight over this bc this is suppose to be a happy time. My friends tell me you will get into a million fights before the wedding- I hope this is normal.

We also are paying for the majority of this wedding if not all. We want to be able to have money for a house as well. So its hard..

I had a similar experience when booking my Wedding Coordinator. Granted that is not the same as booking your RH, but we are also on a VERY strict budget and every penny counts. I was worried that maybe she wouldn't be good because she was still fairly new at planning, and her cost was ridiculously cheap. I really came close to canceling on her all together. Turns out that she was the BEST decision I could have made for this wedding.

You have to go with your gut. When you saw this place you loved it for a reason. You chose it for a reason. Stay true to that. Have confidence in your choice and move on in your planning. It will all work out and I'm sure it will be beautiful!

Go with your gut. I overanalyze everything and FH and I visited ONE place - De Seversky. FH loved it, I did too but of course I couldn't commit without doing another week or so of research. Finally FH had to slap some sense into me or we would've lost our date. And I don't regret it at all!

I have been at a ton of events at Lombardi locations- Villa's, Mama's, the Sound, the Bay. They are all fantastic.

I have been to 2 weddings at Villa's and they do an amazing job. Plus, the food is the best! I have a wedding this June at their location on the Sound and my wedding is next June at their location on the Bay.

I know how you're feeling about jumping the gun. We looked at 4 other places before we chose Lombardi's on the Bay. The minute I stepped into the room I knew we would book with them... and I still have not seen Lombardi's on the Bay completely finished. When we booked, they were heavily under construction- I STILL have no idea what the patio, bridal suite, bathrooms, bar or cocktail room look like. Sometimes I get nervous that the size is too small and maybe we should have looked a little more, but I know we made the right decision. And I can't wait to see what it looks like now that it's done!! (I'm a cheeseball- I want to wait to see the finished product until the 365 mark )

I'm sure you made the decision because you felt it was right. And I'm sure it was right because of that. This is site is a great resource to meet people and chat and share experiences and support each other, but I wouldn't second guess a decision you felt was right because the feedback isn't there.

From one Lombardi Bride to another- I think you made a good choice
