My wedding is 2 months away, July 6 which is the weekend of the 4th and I am getting really nervous about the fact that there may be traffic. The reception is at Floral Terrace on Floral Park. Did I make a big mistake in choosing this date....please tell me what you all think.

No don't worry. People who live in the area know the traffic situation, especially on a long and/or holiday weekend.

what time is your wedding? A lot of the traffic is beach traffic and it is usually early morning and early evening.

The Reception is from 6pm-12am.

I don't think at those times that you really have to worry about it. It is after the beach traffic and around BBQ time so everyone will be where they want to be eating burgers and hot dogs and your guest will get through to your wedding fine! Don't stress about that-- everyone knows how traffic is and they will plan accordingly!!!

don't worry about it.. they'll get there.. and they should know to have enough time alotted to get to your wedding in time. !
