I am putting mine in the ladies room
I am buy $1.00 slippers I havent found them yet but I need to goto a 99 cent store.
I would like to get black, I am going to put them in a basket with a ribbon and alittle tag attached to them.
I am going to make 60 of them for 200 guests.

Also tying a ribbon around them with a cute little favor tag! I purchased about forty pairs! I think I may buy ten more!

We put ours on the same table as the polaroid guest book table right outside the reception doors, we put it out around 930 I didnt want them out too soon, right about when the dancing really started! My hall has more than 1 wedding so I couldnt put in bathroom. It worked out great and the guests RAVED about it too.
I got mine at the dollar store solo 99 and also the aqueduct flea market. I am going to put a basket in the bathroom and one on the dance floor in front of the DJ. I bought all black sizes 7,8,9, and 10.
Hi did you FH get his cigars? we did that too we got them from the lil cig factory in massapequa and I bought lables and put them on myself I will show you a pick- we had them right next to the bar- another huge hit!

I just bought mine today..120 people=50 pairs of slippers.
I went to the .99 store, I saw a really nice pair and the size is right on them, they are not cheap looking either.
I was talking to the guy today and he said 'all the trends start in NY', since all the LIW girls were going to him he said that it will be popular soon around the country.
Honestly, I have never heard of a slipper basket before this site and loved it...
We are doing slippers for the women and FH is taking care of a cigar bar (cubans) for the men. Hopefully all will have a great time!!![]()

I just booked the cigars for my FH and I am seriously thinking about the slippers! thanks for the ideas
I will ask him but if they are REAL( not made in domincan republic as all 'cubans' say) cubans then yea 26 cigars for 20 bucks sounds too good- way too little . My DH is a member of a cigar club too Havana in the Carlton- we have our own box too in the humidor. He used the same place they get their cigars from. I think it was for 90 cigars with the case and different color papers- a little under 200 and that is an AWESOME price. We went to the one in merrick just to see difference in price and he was like 7 dollars a cigar but I will do it for 5 we were like no way buddy we can get them cheaper- we told him and he said thats below wholesale price- But he got that price b/c he is a member too and they do a ton of business with the Carltun.

That cigar table looks great. I love the pict with the poem. My uncle is a member of some cigar club and can get cubans (good ones apparently) 20 for $26. Ask your hubby if that is good. Maybe I will go to the Massapequa one if that is not a good price..I don't smoke themso I don't know ciggy prices.
I was planning on doing it near the bar, which is next to the outside door and slipper basket in the bathroom.
