I second georgettes and Miriams! Miriams fit me with a push up Goddess strapless bra , and believe it or not it was comfy, I am a DD cup. YIKES!

I found something for the twins, but I want to check out Miriams also. I found something that supported me pretty good, but since my boobies are so big, and my stomach's not, it seemed like there was a gap in the boning on my stomach, it didn't lay totally flat on my tummy, it came out a little. THe lady told me b/c the twins are big and the stomach is flat it does that. Anyone heard of that before? That never happenned to me before, I think the bottom of it should be taken in if I buy it.

that's the same problem that i have - big babies on top - smaller/flat waist on the bottom...

hiya cutie... for extra $ you can have the bra custom made to the girls.... that way it'll be fitted all the way around. What i think i'm going to do is actually just buy one of the ones that I found at Georgettes & make sure that they do my dress close enuff to the bra so that that dog won't move!

Got my bra thingy today at Mary's in Woodbury. It was really great!! Mary herself does the fitting and alters the bra for you. Really old-fashioned kind of service. GREAT PLACE. They even did it for me on the spot because I told her I live in Brooklyn and it would be hard for me to get back there before my next fitting.
I had heard there was a long wait but I didn't expect on on a Thursday afternoon but 'lo and behold, I had to wait about 20-30 minutes to meet miss Mary!!! She was worth the wait though!!

I went to Miriam's yesterday. I like the service there better than at Georgettes, although I need the bra that I found at Georgettes. Miriam said she will order it for me. I'd rather get it there so maybe I'll wait - her service was A++

Liz- Just stay on top of the situation at Miriams- sometimes it takes forever and a day for the orders to come in. She is great to work with , but it once took me 8 months to get a bra she ordered! It was not her fault it was the manufacturer.

FYI - Mary's always does the alterations immediately. I grew up in Woodbury, and they never asked me to come back another time. And the alterations are included in the price of the bra.

I called Georgettes back and she was like 'Oh No' that's the way the bra is, and it wouldn't work' W T F? I don't know why she wont help me Miriams said they would fix that part for me, and if I lose the 10 pounds they will adjust it for me. Georgettes is not giving me good service, I dont know why
I could try Mary's then tomorrow, after my facial, before my fitting, and see what she says. I dont want the alterations done until I lose the 10 pounds.

Great Shapes in merrick is great! they will help you with all your needs. on the topic though- ive looked forever, does anyone know of a great strapless bra that fits a 34DD and will stay up and not sag down??? i went looking all day today and found nothing. i think i wasnt meant to be a strapless dress wearer.
