Im going for an Ultrasound on my thyroid tomorrow

Anyone ever had this done before?

My endocronologist thinks it might be a bit enlarged and is therefore concerned. Im nervous that it might hurt ...like the pressure might choke me.

on a funnier note...as soon a I tell people that Im going for an ultrasound..they gasp and think Im pregnant...then I have to bum them out and tell them its going to be on my throat...peoplehave babies on the brain everywhere I go- Springtime

You won't choke, don't worry. I had it a long time ago, no choking involved. And it's probably nothing. You'll be fine.

My Mom had that done a couple months before our wedding....Her thyroid is enlarged so they did a bunch of tests and she is fine!!!! You'll be ok!!!

Thanks ladies!

Everything we great...they were so nice at the hospital I went to. It only lasted about 15 minutes and it felt kinda relaxing. Like a mini neck massage.

I will know if anything is abnormal in 2 days or so when my Dr. gets the info
