Im going for yet ANOTHER makeup trial

Tell me what you girls said to the makeup artist when you sat down please.

Did you say smoky? Dark? Natural? Did you tell them what colors or did they just choose?

i didn't know exactly what i wanted but i told her to make me look made up without overdoing it. i think she nailed it perfectly!

I showed an inspiration pic and told her 'I want that exactly.' And she did it and it was wonderful. It helped that my inspiration pic was one of her own work.

i told her 'i have no idea what i want ... i generally don't wear makeup other than lipstick' ... and she chose for me (she tried browns, pinks, and then purples on me)

I said I wanted to look natural but I wanted my eyes to still pop and she got exactly what I wanted

I told her I didn't want anything 'natural' looking .. I wanted dark, smoky eyes that popped with lashes..etc. She picked the colors and it looked amazing.

had no idea what I wanted or how to even explain, so she got a little bit annoyed with me LOL, gave me a book of her work and while I was getting the hair trial I found kinda what I was going for

I pointed at the picture and said just go even more dramatic I want to look completely different from my regular self

try to think what u want to look like, not what colors u want, that they can usually know (well a good m/u artist)

I showed her a pic of make up I liked (in album) and she said it was 'slightly dramatic'. Whatever! She came pretty close to the pic! Do you have a pic you like?

So she did three different looks on you with different colors?

Yeah - three diff colors of eyeshadow ... My trial took almost two hours
