We definetely ate a lot!!!! We were very impressed with the desserts too

I went to a wedding last year at the FT and it was absolutely amazing!! Great food, service etc!!

I heard that you can request the Venetian hour to begin early- rather than waiting until the last hour of the wedding. I'm thinking this would probably avoid being rushed through it. I may ask them to do that for us. Not sure yet though.... I know timing is an issue when there is more than one wedding going on at a time. Maybe that's what the problem was.
