I am afraid that I'm basically going to be crying the entire day of the wedding. Just to give you an idea, we went to a private showcase with the DJ we booked, and when he was doing example intros, he announced us as Mr. And Mrs. And I started crying. Yep. That's me!
I am my mother's daughter and she's the worst. We went to my RH to make a payment and she hadn't seen it yet, so we went over to the main room to show her. It was decorated for someone ELSE's wedding and she started crying.
I'm so overwhelmed with happiness and love and every time I think about how wonderful it will be to be married to him, I lose it. I don't know how I'm going to hold it together.
We're doing a first viewing for this very reason, lol.

Ok, I am an emotional train wreck 99% of the time (thank you mom) and the day of the ceremony and the day ofthe reception, I cried once...when I saw the venue the day of the reception and it was everything's imagined and more :) I surprised everyone including myself by not shedding tears :)
You may just surprise yourself!

im definetly going to be crying. reading your post made me think of the wedding and gave me chills and i got teary. i am going to need waterproof mascara by the bucket full!

OMG i always cry! at commercials, movies, anything! The day we got engaged I cried like a baby for the whole day

When FH proposed to me, it was in our house over a really elaborate and romantic dinner he cooked me for my birthday. I was SHOCKED. I mean, so totally and completely shocked, because he made a menu for the meal and when I turned the page for the dessert it said, 'Will you marry me?'
I was HYSTERICAL. I couldn't even speak. I gasped so loudly and then just collapsed into a big, watery mess. When I finally got it together, of course I said yes, but I was so overcome with love and surprise that I couldn't stop crying.
I think the reasons people cry are different for everyone too. I cry at any EXTREME emotion. It's like the severity sends my body into overdrive and I have to just let it out.
I was overwhelmed with so many emotions when he proposed to me, that I'm CERTAIN I will be this way at the wedding.
I will be completely and utterly shocked if I have that 'sense of calm' some people mention... and then the shock of that will probably make me cry!!!
This is how much i cried lolol and I cry every time I watch this lol

I'm totally planning on having my fiance keep tissues in his suit for me and keeping some at our sweethearts table also, lol! My mom is really going to be a mess that day, I'm sure - so I'll look fine in comparison! I cry thinking about some of the wedding day stuff (especially when working on our vows!) - mostly tears of joy, but then every time i think about the people who won't be at our wedding because they've passed on, I get sad (grandparents who never saw us as adults, and won't be there on our special day...). So many emotions about this big day! (happiness, stress, etc..) Not to mention family drama some (or most) of us will have (my sister...) anyone else know they'll be facing some drama with family?

Yeah, there's a situation with my dad. He's attending as a guest and I'm stressing about some of the father-daughter stuff he won't be doing. I don't know how I'll be able to let those things happen with him sitting there, without worrying how he's feeling. But I can't just let him have those things after all these years of not doing enough.

This is hysterical!! I can relate, because I find myself crying over anything wedding related @ random hours of the day & night. The FH finds me in tears all the time, . I am overwhelmed with happiness, love & excitment!! So happy for you and all the other Brides that feel this way

I am in the same boat as you!!! My BFF just went through the same thing last year at her wedding. She said she was so busy dancing and chatting with guests that she really didn't even notice or feel any sadness. Hopefully that will be us!

I agree, I'm the same way but I didn't cry at all during the ceremony. Once your in that moment, everything just goes out the window and all you see is your smiling FH
