my bm dresses were supposed to be in april 20thand they just called me and said the designer had trouble with the color and they are recutting them and wont be in until may 23rd. WT FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
I am going to cry, that leave no room for ANYTHIGN to go wrong with them and my girls have to basically drop everything and get it altered.
I am so upset.

oh anney i'm so sorry! can't you complain to the store for them to tell the designer to do this faster? I mean, it's the designer's fault! They shouldn't push back the date of the dresses coming in so close to your wedding. I would def call and see if they can speed it up. i'm sorry
also, from my experience, alteration was really quick for BM dresses.

That's pretty BS - Like Kedra said, they should do a rush and get the dresses here ASAP!!! Did you give them a little bit of hell for this??
I know it will all work out and there won't be any problems but its just so ridic you have to deal with the added stress.

They (RK bridal) said that they told the designer (alvina valenta) that I'm getting married earlier than I am and that's still the best they can effin do! They said I can call back on may 18 and see where they are in the process btu that is no consolation to me at this point.
And my bms are out of state so i feel even LESS in control since I can't see them right away or see if they are being tailored on time etc.

they said they will over night it as soon as they get it
my moh's dress arrived last week and she already had a fitting. I don't understand how the color was wrong if I ordered at the same effin time for all the dresses. Even though moh is different style number, shouldnt they have been made in the same dye lot????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh no! that is terrible! I can't believe they did that. I know it will be a huge inconvenience for your BM, but if it makes you feel better, a seamstress can literally alter a dress in a day, so they won't have a problem getting it done in time as long as they can set aside some time to go for a fitting.

yes they should all be the same dye lot!! I would see if you can call Alvina Valenta. Maybe RK is lying to you!
