I'm going to FAIL at being a wife...

So my poor mother has a bladder infection today, and is now hopped up on a considerable amount of pills. Needless to say, no dinner for Ali or Daddy.

So instead of practicing for many nights of coming home from work and having to cook dinner for myself, a cranky DH, and possibly equally cranky and hungry children...

I pop in the frozen slap of King Kullen pizza. Ramen soup will follow as a second course.


Dad is licking a bowl of days old tuna dry. We're so pathetic.

Thats great! Id do the same thing!

thats too funny.. it took me a little while to get into the whole cooking4 fh n me everynight, but our wallets couldnt take eating out ne more n be4 u knew it, i was cooking.. lol u'll get a hang of it im sure! haha if not just make sure u have a draw filled with to-go menus! haha

This sounds like our place at dinner... every day. Our freezer is full of things that can be prepared in under 10 minutes by unwrapping and heating

I was this way too.

If you want, I can FM you my 3 idiot proof recipes for pasta, chicken and steak. poor FH, that is all he can have until i get more creative

The funny part is I'm actually a very good cook...I just don't have the motivation after I get home from work. And FH is very particular about what should and shouldn't pass through your mouth...anything canned, frozen, or preserved is not acceptable.

So this means....I have to make sauce. From scratch. Like, every time.
