I'm going to try on wedding dresses THIS SATURDAY!

I have appts to Bergdorf Goodman, Kleinfeld and Bridal Reflections.

I'm looking forward to seeing designs by Ines di Santo, Monique Lhillier, Lazaro, Oscar de la Renta and Badgley Mischka, to name a few...

I'm super excited!

Any things I should keep in mind for the appts? Advice?

haha. You are so ahead of the game, it's wonderful.

Wear a strapless bra!

Keep your mind open and hopefully you get a good bridal consultant who will bring gowns that you would NEVER have thought to try on. But look fantastic on you!

Good luck! I agree, definitely try on gowns that you don't think you'll like, just to see if the style works on your body! You'll never know until you have it on!

Wear full coverage undies. The salesperson will likely be in the room to help you get in and out of dresses.

Also, if you have a pair of shoes that are approx. the heel height you intend to wear, bring those with you. Otherwise, the store will likely have heels that you can use while you're trying on the dresses.

Pace yourself. You'd be surprised how mentally exhausting it can be to try on all those dresses as you're trying to keep track of likes and dislikes from the different styles you try on.

hmm those are all scheduled for saturday? i know it seems impossible but you actually get tired and confuseddd trying on that many dresses in one day, next time try and schedule them a little further apart, it helps make a clearer decesion

Thanks for the advice. Too bad my sister and best friend are coming up to NY from VA just for the day! If I'm overwhelmed, I could possibly cancel one of them that day.

bring a bottle of water and a small snack...
i found wearing heels the whole time uncomfortable bec they werent exactly what i would be wearing...i wore flips lol...full coverage undies and a strapless..
