Im gonna feaking lose it

I went one week ago to try on dresses at Davis in Rochester. I acually decided on a dress that day and my mom and I ordered my dress.

The dress they had there in my size was a mess: the zipper was broken, their were tons of 'pulls' in the detail on the front of the dress, and there was a little speck of red something on the front of the dress.

They told me that my dress would be in in April. Now this morning they called my house and said that my dress is in!!!!!!!!!!

If I go over there and they pulled the dress off the rack and fixed the zipper I am going to lose it. I will be soooooooooooo pissed I am not wearing some stinky, dirty, fixed up dress.

THEY WILL BE ORDERING ME A NEW DRESS!!!!!!

Do you girls think they would honestly do this???? Do you think I have the right to tell them NO?

Please help............I have a huge feelig this is whats going on. How is the 'new' dress already here????????????

Yes, I do think they would do that. They've actually done it before. When you order with them you need to make sure you specify that you want a NEW dress... I would examine that dress to no end! You'll know if it's been fixed though, they're alterations are horrible.

do you think you will know when you look at it??? i would say something if you are sure. that is really messed up if they would do that!! did they tell u that u could buy that exact dress when you originally went there?? and would it be ordered in the same size??

dont' freaking lose it until you're there and know that's what they did. If they did, at that point, you definitely have a right to freaking lose it and go duchess county on their asses.

Well I know that they are pretty much a buy off the rack dress store so I didn ask the lady who helped me 'your ordering me a new dress right?' and she said yes it will be here in April.

I better bring my mom with me because im probably gonna lose it and start crying if they give me any CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

They specificlly told me they were ordering my dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some girls on here were saying it can take months for them to get there dress after ordering it.

I ordered mine last monday and they are saying it here already???? Its so upseting because I had such a wonderful experiance at Davids and now this is going to ruin it!!!!!! And Im going to tell them that.

No one should have to pay $600 for a dress that been fixed and is NOT PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is our weddings you are talking about!!!!! Alot of time and money goes into this along with emotion. I dont want just any old dress off the rack everyone has tried on.and been fixed up. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I agree... My dress is taking 10-12 mons to come in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know what thats all about!

I'm a big believer in not worrying until you know you have something to worry about.

Maybe you just got lucky and the dress really did come that quickly?? Make sure you go over every inch of that dress. If it had pulls in it you would be able to tell right away if it isn't new, right?

That is kinda odd but then again if you go there and the dress you tried on is on the rack and you got a diff. dress in the back. well you know they didn't try to pull one on you.

Inspect the dress make sure its 100% perfect.

Oh and thats what davids is known for, You get the dress off the rack! When I was told that I said absolutley not! i would want a new dress! they said if i wanted a new one they would order it but the more i think about it, the more i doubt what they said! let me know!

I really hope that the messed up dress isn't the dress that they are going to give you. Maybe they located a new one in a nearby store. It wouldn't take more than a week regardless the state it came from. Hopefully this is what they did!!!
