I'm gonna kill DH- he found them-updated at the bottom

I bought DH really nice cufflinks as a gift for our wedding. This Saturday is his brother's wedding so I asked him if he was going to wear his cufflinks. DH said that he doesn't know where they are.
I've been looking all over the house, but I can't find them either.
Have any of you or your SO lost a nice gift?

Do you know how many times DH has misplaced his wedding ring? I cannot even begin to tell you how I want to ring his neck when I find it on the kitchen counter near the garbage because he took it off to cook. We actually sorted through garbage one night, I was gonna KILL him and it was in his pocket the entire time!
I cannot even tell you what his Tiffany cufflinks look like at this point, They definitely aren't near silver anymore!

My DH lost his ring 5 times...the 5th time being the last. Once it was found on our driveway. Once in a bathroom of a restaurant, once at the beach in the sand (who knows how we found it), under the couch and the 5th time it was lost in a limo coming home from a business function.

We went out and bought him the cheapest thing we could find...wouldn't you know it, he never misplaced it again...

If it's lost it's lost, I can't do anything about that. It just pisses me off that he didn't take better care of something I gave him as a wedding gift.
I would actually feel much better about it if he was wearing them and one fell off. But the fact is, he doesn't even know where he put them or even if he camehome from the wedding with them.

My Fh has lost an engraved money clip I bought him....TWICE!!!

I told him never again will I get him one

But to be fair, my 1st present from him many years ago was a silver bracelet that I lost the next day I was so upset...I made my dad drive me back to school and the mall where I thought I lost it....It was a teenage thing I guess to think he'd break up with me b/c of that

I bought my FH a beautiful gold chain for one of his birthdays. He didn't have a safe place to keep it, so he asked he to keep it with my jewelry in my armoire. So, he has never misplaced it, but this means that he also NEVER WEARS IT!!

After I searched the whole house, he went in looked in a bag I had checked twice, and there they were!
I guess third time really is a charm.
