The bonehead used the weed-wacker on my butterfly bush (that doesn't sound good, does it? ) and on my Irises!
He thought they were weeds! Men!!!!

AGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH! Sorry, I know that feeling! I have all these beautiful lilly of the valley, and our landscaper (lawn mower man) thought they were weeds, so he also 'wacked' them!
It's grow back, right?

The Irises won't grow back this season, but they'll be back next year. And the butterfly bush should come back. They usually need to be cut back a couple of times during the season anyway.
