So I finally made my first hair trial appt. The woman is going to come to my house and it's free. I'm so excited so I e-mailed my sister. I told her what the woman does and then I told her that it was a little pricy but I'm going to pay for half of the girls hair if they decide to go with her too. She then goes on a tangent saying that I'm crazy for wanting to spend so much on my and the girls hair.
Here's how I see it. I'm am spending way too much money on my wedding already so what's an extra $200??? Everyone is going to be looking at me and not the $600 lights the band is bringing. So why not splurge on making sure my hair is perfect for the most important day of my life?
One more thing. The girls hair will cost between $100 and $150, and I was going to pay for half of that, is that too much to ask of my girls?

No, that is not too much to ask. I think you are being generous to help pay!
not everyone will understand why you want to spend the extra money - i think it is absolutely worth it. So will your sis when she sees her hair!

Okay, you asked for honesty. 1. I think its REALLY nice of you to offer to pay 1/2 of the girls hair but 2. maybe your sister is thinking that you are saying they have to get their hair done. I think expecting them to pay $50 if they weren't planning on going to a hair dresser is one thing but if they were all planning on getting their hair done, its extremely generous and they will feel very lucky to hav eyou!

Hey date twin!! No, I don't think it's ridiculous because my hair is costing me more! You're right, you want to look good especially in photos. Another $200 is not alot in the grand scheme of things. Don't listen to anyone, the fact that you are paying half is nice. Most shops would charge at least half of $100-150 anyway, so they really are not spending alot. Good luck. Michele

I would give the girls the option of having their hair done for 1/2 price or doing it themselves. This way no one feels pressured to spend money they wouldn't ordinarily spend BUT will also have the chance to get their hair done for less money.
