Don't be sad Shana, your time will come! You and DH have gone through a deeply traumatizing event, especially because you both had time to bond with your little one considering you were pretty far along in your first trimester. When your body is ready, you'll conceive in a flash, just like you did the first time, but you have to give your body some TLC and give it the time it needs to recover... soon enough you'll be making your big announcement, never fear!!

your time will come (again) what's meant to be will be...

i am feeling sort of similiar....i know 5 months is not that long compared to what others are going through....but i am getting really nervous. i thought it would take us like 2 or 3 months....and each month I get a BFN. Sigh.

In the meantime, I am learning alot by reading other's posts!

Shana, I agree with you totally! But, I am a firm believer of when it is meant to be it will be. Take this time to get yourself back to 100% and you will be announcing in no time I'm sure!!

We are all here for you and I think your feelings are completely understandable.

It will happen soon enough...just think of all the 'practice' you and DH can have.... This is why I don't come on the board that much anymore...DH and I have been trying over 1 year with no luck I am going back to the RE this Thursday...I am keeping my fingers crossed that this month the IUI works and I can join all the new mommies on the Parenting board.

~~~~~ BABY DUST~~~~~~ to all!!!
Shana honestly, that is why I stayed off the TTC board and parenting board until I was ready. It hurts and it is hard to hear but know that your time will come.
Oh Shana, I am so sorry.
Can I ask you a question? What does that whole bloodwork and that number exactly mean?
Your HCG levels (the hormone levels) only rise while you're pregnant, and when you miscarry, they don't automatically come back down. For some people, it can take a few weeks for the hormone levels to go back to zero. The problem is, while the HCG is still in your system, your body thinks you're still pregnant, so your cycle won't start again until they come back down to zero. So, until they come back down to zero, you won't ovulate again or get your period.
But, Shana, they're pretty low! I went from 128 to 0 in three days! I bet by now you're at zero and your cycle will start again soon! Good luck!!!
Beth got it! I'm hoping they will be at zero by the time I go back....but I'm still spotting a very tiny bit each day, but in the last 2 days it's gotten even lighter, so I'm hoping I get AF around V-day. Maybe we'll make an anniversary baby.
Shana, I dont come onto TTC often enough, so I missed this post.
All the ladies have already given you lots of wonderful advice, but I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and sending you lots of all the way to Georgia
Your time will come sweetie, and when it does you and Rich are going to be such incredible parents
