Im happy I waited to get married in 2011 because .....

( post for those that look at us like we have 5 heads when we say 'Im geting married in 2011') ....

why are you happy that you waited in 2-0-1-1?

because FH and I need to save a ton of $$$$$ to pay for everything!!!!

$$$$$$$$$$$ We are paying for this wedding ourselves and it gives us peace of mind to know that we don't have to rush to get $$ for the things we need for this wedding. Not to say we aren't busting our butts (FH has picked up a lot of extra side work and I have been working 7 days a week FOREVER!) but it's totally worth it in the end. On top of saving for the wedding, we are also saving for a house. Our plan is to not have any debt from this wedding (which we won't) and all the $$ we get from the wedding is going straight towards the house.

haha this is a good one..I still get that after being engaged almost a year..I just got the other day oooh still so far..Um yea a year & a half from December 2nd..anyway, I happy because there is not so much pressure on FH & I to come up with all that $$$ so quick. If I had my way & we booked in 2010 like I wanted, I think I'd be a raging lunatic because we'd have to have like 3 jobs each to come up with that amount for almost 6 months away..that extra year will help alot...

but on a sadder note my Grandma was just given 6 weeks... She is dying from breast cancer & skin cancer from the radiation..I don't know how long she will keep fighting because it is now in her bones but I really need time before I can be truly happy & excited about the wedding again.That's why I stopped planning an E-Party. It's just so hard to be happy when both of Grandma's won't be at my wedding..I guess God had a plan when he made made us push it back that extra year

I'm happy that we're waiting til 2011 bc FH is in school and if we wait til 2011, he'll be able to have an entire month off of school and we can go on our HM right away instead of waiting
Plus, the extra time to save and make decisions doesn't hurt either!

I decided in lieu of favors, I'm going do donate to Hospice since both Grandmas & my Grandpa had to have it. They really are such amazing people to be able to deal with this on a daily basis.
