I'm having a bridal breakdown

Why is it I procrastinate????

I need to do mega ovetime in the next few months, which is gonna give me no time to get anything done!!

Why didn't I have my invites picked out, programs , menus and other stationary stuff done so I can just print when needed

I have no idea what I want to do about CP's , my savings isn't where I want it and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Someone punch me because I'm losing it

Also I might add with my mom being out of work... I have to pay some of her things.. And with that said, how am I gonna have a shower, if she can't work?!??!?!

AHHHHHHH.... I seriously need a cocktail

If it makes you feel any better my wedding is before yours and my invites are barely picked out and programs, menus and all that stationary stuff I haven't even started yet.

These things always work themselves out somehow. Good luck!

Dahling!! Don't stress i haven't printed out none of my stationary either. Why don't you look at some online websites while at work so you can get an idea of what you want? Costco also has some very pretty ones if i wasn't making my own i would've ordered from them.
For CP's why don't you have the tall cylinder CP's with the floating flowers in it and with the floating candle up top it's not too expensive to make. I'm helping my mom with my shower because she is retired so can't shell out a ton of money, so don't worry you'll be okay. Here's some champagne lol

Do you have colors picked out? Are you looking to diy everything or are you going through vendors? I have nothing to do until I go to the doctor at 12:45... I'll help!

I'm on it!

This is kind of vintagey like

Our inspiration for this fun, but simple project comes to us from the pages of Marie Claire Idées. We love marrying old, discarded objects to create beautiful, new objects (pun intended!). Recycling tea cups, candle sticks and cake plates is about the most charming way there is to salvage yesterday's treasures and by doing so, you'll save as much as 75% of the cost of traditional centerpieces! To get the look, follow these simple steps:

1. Search flea markets, thrift stores, and eBay for broken (and cheap) candelabras and tea cups.

2. Your bases (the candelabras) can be any material, from ceramic to tarnished silver. Just be sure spray paint them all the same color to create a unified look.*

3. If you're really crafty, you can reglaze your tea cups, but we think that's a lot of extra work! Instead, pick up assorted cups in one color—or pick up sets that coordinate. If you choose a simple white cup, you can embellish the cups yourself with ceramic decals.

4. Glue the cups to your bases with solvent-free Elmer's Craft Bond Ceramic & Glass Glue.

5. Voila! Centerpieces. Fill each with fruits, nuts, sweets, small plants and soy or beeswax votives, and congratulate yourself on your creativity and thriftiness.

dont worry.. you still have alot of time left... My wedding is in less than 3 months and Im still printing my invites, havent gotten my envelopes back from the printer, havent printed menus, programs or place cards yet... ARGH!

I've seen some nice inspiration idea boards on the Themes board.. Its just a matter of making a choice of what i want..

I'm sucha pain in the caboose

I want DIY CP's but my thing is the whole ' How do i know they will look good the day of if the BM is setting it up .. I'm terrified of everything looking like crap

I would take a picture of how you want the CP to look and give it to the BM so they can see exactly how it looks. I'm sure they know how to set it up and it won't look bad.

another one

Would you be doing real flowers in the centerpieces? If you do silk flowers you wouldnt have to worry about the BM setting it up - it would already be in the vase.

I was thinking about real flowers.. I was gonna go to a warehouse and buy in bulk.. But my concern with that is the flowers will look horrible.

Gloria- That branch CP is real nice =)

How about I hire one of you girls to set it up for me

If your wedding wasn't the day before mine, I would gladly do it for you for free!

I think pink flowers in a black vase like this would look great...plus they're $5 or $10 from this place jamile

Or small julep vases and a big candle in the middle... can't really mess this one up!
