i'm having horrible visions -- what to do?
After a lot of aggrivation, FMIL is stuffing her own invites after I offered to do it. I was given a hard time and just gave up.
I emailed and called to find out where I should drop off her invites (she's in the process of moving) and I got no response. And knowing the way she is, I find it hard to believe that she didn't get either message.
So now I'm concerned that she'll just assume that I'm stuffing her invites since i offered initially. I want to stay off her radar -- I don't want to call her to clarify that I'm not doing them. I dont' want to talk to her at all. But, I'm concerned that FIL's will just assume - regardless of the fight that happened - that I just took care of them and will not bother to ask me. So my question -- is there a way to stress that I've NOT stuffed their invites without a confrontation?
If their invites don't go out, we won't make our minimum, even if every single one of my guests came. And that will piss me off because we're in a bigger room because of their super-big guest list.
